Openings are still available for Head Start preschool services at Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) Early Childhood Centers in the northwest Ohio area.

Centers with openings include:

·        McCord Early Childhood Center in Toledo

·        Perrysburg/Rossford Early Childhood Center

·        Port Clinton Early Childhood Center

·        Sylvania Early Childhood Center

Through GLCAP Head Start, children can receive no-cost, full-day preschool that focuses on kindergarten readiness, socialization, and other important developmental needs for children and families. All centers provide meals and snacks; health screenings; and other services.

Though eligibility is in part determined by income, staff look at each family's circumstances and will assist in finding parents and caregivers the best option for their children’s needs.
