No-cost home repairs available through GLCAP

Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) is looking to help residents in need of home repairs.

The GLCAP Community Housing Impact & Preservation (CHIP) home repair program provides no-cost home repairs for eligible residents. Repairs may include electrical systems, plumbing, roofs and other needs such as ADA modifications. The program is ideal for those who are on a fixed income, including seniors, disabled individuals and anyone else who needs home repairs. Eligibility requirements apply.

GLCAP provides home repair services in a ten-county northwest Ohio region. In particular, GLCAP is seeking projects in the following areas:

  • Cities of Bellevue and Clyde in Sandusky County
  • City of Willard
  • Erie County
  • Huron County
  • Lorain County (excluding the cities of Elyria and Lorain)
  • Lucas County (excluding the City of Toledo)
